About Grandpa Phil

Grandpa Phil was born and raised in Colorado. He has hiked, biked, canoed, climbed or skied in every part of this state. Mention that you are going hiking near Leadville or skiing in the San Juan Mountains and Grandpa can tell you about the best trail , ski resort, camping spot, cross country trails and of course the best restaurant! He’s alway got a great story about some adventure he has taken. We thought we should start recording and sharing all his stories. That is why we are building this blog for Grandpa. Grandpa Phil, who is now in his eighties, might not be tech savvy enough to create this blog but he can still ski like he is 13!
